If the Menswear Autumn / Winter 2018 Collection of Louis Vuitton had a title, it would be
Ice King !
This was the last Fashion Show of Kim Jones as Louis Vuitton’ s Creative Director after seven years at the men’s helm of the House. However, at this last Collection Jones put on a breathtaking show with an epic finale that will make his swan song even more memorable.
The items of the collection were in a big majority in the full palette of grey !
Suits, coats, trousers, shorts over joggings and ugly sneakers all in a grey scale or in motif prints combined with intense yellow or orange. The proposals of the House were accessories in gold or silver with the iconic messengers or backpacks of the House in yellow colour. And this is not over…
Metallic tailoring, sporty V-necks emblazoned with ‘LOUIS,’ a sweater with a peace sign cleverly woven into the iconic LV logo, a variety of elegant outerwear, ribbed knitwear in vivid colors, and marbled digital prints.
The show of course closed by the iconic Super Models and friends of the House and Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss wearing patent trench coats printed with the iconic LV monogram, finished off with heavy lace-up boots.
